Transplanting it should not kill it, unless you literally just yank it out of the pot it's in now. let the soil dry out quite a bit, then squeeze the sides of the pot to loosen it from the sides, have your new pot and soil ready. Gently pull the plant and as much soil as possible from the current pot and put it in the new soil/pot, then water it good, without drenching it. Watering every day is what has hurt your plant, they don't need that much and your current situation is the result of that.Keep the soil relatively airy, not so compact, and only water as needed, usually once every 5 to 7 days and your baby will show marked improvement.
