Selfed GG4 cut and seeded out my keeper Chenm cookie. Wow the F1 s were so vigorous all had a coffee breath / rotten tooth smell I know it sounds nasty but omg the high is so savage. Have 50-60 beans left to run. Trying to F2 em but we’ll see

It’s funny how the industry/scene has progressed over the years…from seeds in corrugated cardboard to clones now arriving damn near identical to how we receive our ornamental cuttings. Only thing missing was the rooting hormones.

Do you get any anise or Black Licorice taste out of this? Im starting some of Mel Franks' Durban Posion S1's looking for anise stuff with hopefully some thc-v added in. Nice looking flower.

Most of that African stuff carries thc-v or similar trait. It doesnt agree with everyone, but I love it. If I smoke a bone and gotta get up and do something 5 minutes later, I really enjoy that trait. I remember 1993 Durban Poison had Black Licorice flavor with a solid 3 hr high to it, out of A-Dam during early cannabis cup era.
Any idea of the origin of your Durb? Is it Dutch possibly? I know Durban was passed around Cali back in the day too.
Hows the stretch? is it managable? Im running my stuff outside, im not sure whether to expect a large wispy 8 foot plant thats wild, or if its better behaved than that.

I still haven’t been able to schedule her in for flowering, and probably won’t be able to until late summer/early fall.
All I know is what Oldsog told me, which is she flowers in 65 days. Which makes her one of the quicker phenos. When TNF released his Silver Haze F2’s (open pollination) he stated most phenos going considerably longer, like 90+ days. That’s more in line with what I’d expect. I still plan on selfing the athens cut, since it hails from the original seed stock, should make it the best candidate for hunting down some longer phenos.
Still, I can’t wait to try the Athens, just hasnt been in the cards yet.
