Clone Question...

I took clones from my mothers about 2 weeks ago and used rapid rooter plugs. Out of 22 clones, 4 died and I tossed 2. I transplanted them into FFOF soil about 4 days ago. My question is, how early should I introduce nutes to them? When I transplanted them I added 5ml of Hormex to the water to help promote root growth. Last night I gave them their first watering. Should I water several more times and then introduce nutes or is it safe to go for it the next watering?

FFOF has nutes in it. Enough that you could go 4 weeks without adding any.

You clones won't need to be fed yet :leaf:

...the fox farm ocean forest has enough fertilizer in it for about a month....or, just wait until you start to see yellowing of the bottom leaves....then fertilize.

Well the bottoms of the leaves started to turn yellow in the humidity dome....which I was told was normal. I also used a home made aero cloner just to compare the two methods. The plants in the aero cloner didn't have any leaves turn yellow. But anyways, more leaves on some of the plants are turning yellow. But then again other plants leaves aren't turning any yellower and are starting to look pretty good, given its only been a couple days. I added Miracle Grow perlite to the FF just to help the drainage. I'm starting to think there might of been some "special" additive in that perlite but the bag didn't say anything other than perlite? Fucking Miracle Grow. Should I have added the Hormex to the first feeding? The bottle said to only add 5ml/gal to promote root growth. Something makes me think I should've just plain watered them. This is my first time cloning btw....live and learn. I watered the shit out of them last night, so if anything is in the soil that they don't like, hopefully it gets flushed.
