I have a plant I was growing for clones, I accidently let the roots dry out and now its looking pretty bads roots are dying, plant still looks healthy,, I dont have any cloning gel yet, I have some peat plugs and a dome, is it possible to clone with peat pellots if i dont have cloning powder yet or is there a household item that could possibly work before it dies? thanks

You can use aloe vera juice if you live near a Latino Market they sell it for like $1. I don't use anything (but I do clone with fogponics) I used to do it with a DWC of just plain water and grow them in Pealite it take about a week to show roots but it works

If it's currently spring in your time-zone and there is a weeping willow (many other willows do as well) available you could make an extract from its freshest grow; cut to pieces, let sink in clean water 75°C just enough all plant material is well embedded, after 30 mins filter out all green material and throw these away. extract store in a freezer in smaller-sized quantities. this can be used also during any time of the vegetative growth-phase just add to the water but in usage with cloning sink the fresh cuttling for 30s in it and let some of it also slightly dampen the rockwool jifi.
