Clone roots. Help!

Hi all, as you can see from the pics my clones are looking healthy but the roots are not breaking the actual surface of the rockwool cubes. Could they be too tighly compacted so they cant get through or should i just wait. The one you can see wih the roots exposed is not me breaking it open. I noticed that it had split on its own accord

They look good, just give them time.
 
At this point I would leave just a little bit of liquid standing in the pan. That will help the rockwool break down a little bit.
