Cloned a bag seed plant

They're not all winners. Brick weed is grown for yield and robustness, so if it's a weakling just flush it and look for another seed in the next batch. Like you said, don't waste your time and space on something that's not impressing you.

Good thing that Capulator didn't do that with his slow to veg MAC1 cut before he flowered it out, as his cut is currently one of the most coveted out there in 2021, and as mentioned notoriously slow in veg.

Those are stories recounting flukes. Like some random guy out of the blue giving Kushman a Strawberry Cough, GG4 & 5 rescued from a compost pile, and a few more. Hopping for a winner in a bag is wishful thinking.

MAC1 isn't the only well known cut which is slow in veg but makes up for it in flower. As previously mentioned Franco's breeder cut of Super Lemon Haze, which I have grown, is also slow in veg. Same with PCG's Kush Mintz. Trying to judge how your flowers will be based on how it vegges is not a winning path to follow, in my opinion. Don't forget that all the famous Chemdog cuts were also bag seed. I bet Chemdog is still kicking himself today for culling the males from his first run of that bag seed.

I understand all that. I have room for thousands, so I always have pet projects in play.
(yeah, it's a male weed plant. lol)

I have another that will grow 12' in a 2 gallon pot that was a result of accidental extreme stressing, and I kept it instead of killing it. The one on the far left is over 6' tall. 1 in 50 is a 10 inch dwarf. I've been trying to capture it for years, but the dwarfs have all been females to far and will not clone :( so I need a male. And I'll be lucky if seeds ripen because it finishes in 12 weeks from seed.

So I absolutely get saving phenos.

The brother doesn't have that luxury and only has room for a couple plants and is growing for smoke. The weakling will take up precious room for at least 4 months so that's why I say kill it.

You could always reverse one of the females.

Maybe get it out that salt encrusted bag with compacted soil.

Transplant it into new medium , larger pot , roll back heavy watering ( same as that skinny one behind it too ) , defol those funky gross lower leaves ( leaves that have chalky shit ) and let new medium feed it.

Plus those “ cuttings “ are stretched… place all on risers or lower light accordingly.

I’m betting if you “ really “ took care of it , it would recover. It appears stalled.
Update: took your advice and after a couple days of recovery from transplant.. She's starting to thrive, branching out and I was already able to top her.

That's difficult for a couple reasons. It finished so fast, I don't know if the seeds would have time to ripen. Another things is when you reverse a female, you tend to get phenos from the lineage. For example, if you reverse a GG4, chances are pretty good you'd get some Chem and Chocolope phenos. That said, I've done it a few times :)
