clones or seeds ????

this will be my first grow. i'm not sure if i should go with clones or fem/auto/lowryder ???
my grow space is a very large rubbermaid tub w/some 65w n 42w CFLs more daylight to start then more softwhite later in the grow. i'm going to use foxfarms soil as well.

FYI:other than toenails i've never grown anything in my life lol

IMO, Clones are easier to start since they are already started, but they are hard to keep going. Seeds will be stronger and better for your first time plus you will learn more. Clones are for more experienced growers. IMO!

well if i was doin that setup i'd say clones only for the reason that u need a specifac amount cause if'd be me doin it : a) i'd clone 4 (or whatever) of my most delecious, or b) start bout 10 seeds have only 7 work have 3 be males and only be able to keep 3. but then again maybe im just a better cloner, seeds only seed to disapoint me UNLESS i'm looking for a clone mother :)

From seeds you will learn more, but if you want good fast results and know the genetics of the clones and they are good I would go with clones.Just gotta keep em happy.

if you plan on growing lowryder, which is a autoflowering strain u have to start from seed from wat ii know u cant clone auto's.....or has that time passed?

going to order some fem/auto/lowryder for my first grow. i really want to learn everything i can so i'm going to start with seeds. i know auto/fem is'nt really 'starting from scratch' but i hope to get better with each and every grow.

from the time i bought my first smoker it took a dozen or so slabs of ribs before i hit on something really good...i'm hoping for the same results here.

practice, practice,practice

thanks and i'll keep you updated
