Cloning Question

My plant is at day 26 since it broke the surface, vegging under 1, then 3, now 4, 42w CFL's. It started showing signs of sex early this morning when I was considering cloning and/or topping. Is it safe to do either after sex is shown? Maybe this is a stupid question. I havent started flowering yet, so I think there should be no problem.

Yes you can clone after sexing your plant. But one question?....How is your plant showing sex when you say you haven't started flowering yet?

That would be a good question. If you find out, could you let me know? I've had lights on 24/7 since groundbreak.

plants will show sex even if they arent flowering. when they are mature enough they will show their sex. ive had plants show their sex that have been on continuous 18/6. you will know when they are mature. most plants nodes start to alternate when they are mature and ready to flower.
