Cloning questions

So I have taken two clones off my main plant and am using only water to root it. I was wandering two things. While Im waiting for the roots to sprout, can I put them under the same light as my main plant? or does it need like partial light or something.

My other question is, would it work better if i had nutes water instead of normal to get them to root?

No nutes for rooting. use cloning gel and then just water. put a dome over them and just like a blue cfl or 2. and spary them every few hours.

I dont have a dome(limited space) but I did cover them so the roots dont recieve any light.

presoaked rockwell cubes with quarter strength nutriant solution. a product called jumpstart as both a addiotive and a foliar spray works wonders. even stubbon rooters like blueberry root in two weeks. keep your water temp slightly higher than your room temp and your humidity over 80%

Ok so I got like a can, put some paper in layers as a lid(taped) and poked a hole for the cutting to be placed. The first one that I did I set it in indirect light for about 3 days, then moved into my grow room. So far its living, i havnt looked for roots but its only been a week and a half. The second one I tried, I did the same thing only directly put it in the grow room instead of the indirect lighting, it ended up dieing. Now it could just be a coincedence, but I think it might be nessesary for that little rest period of time.
