Closet Ventilation Q's

I have a 7x7x4 (7 feet tall) walkin closet located in a 10x10 office room. I would like to setup a 400w HPS in the closet and am thinking about vent options.

Right now I am leaning towards buying a cheap door from home depot and drilling holes in it for exhaust and intake. My question is if I drill an exhaust at the top of the door and an intake at the bottom...will the 10x10 office be able to circulate enough air so I am not just pushing stale air in and out.

The office does have a window but I would rather not open it too much for safety. I do have the option of leaving the office door open into the rest of the house though. Any ideas for me?

Not the best plan but yes you could do that. The office and house will eventually smell like weed. Hot humid air needs to be vented to the outside. If you can hang a door you can run a vent. A bathroom vent fan, sized for the space you are using, would be a much better option for exhaust. VV

The problem is that this is an apartment so too much wall fabrication is impossible...hence buying the cheap door to cut into. Would a carbon filter do anything to lessen the smell?

could you hook up a vent hose to a can fan and run it to a hole in the floor so the air goes under the house?
