Once you see the first few trichs turning cloudy how long is it generally until you get most cloudy and a few amber, i'm trying to work out when i should start *flushing so i cut at the right time :)

* Edit: I don't mean flushing, i mean to just give plain ph'd water for the last week.

Indicas are typically ready to harvest after 9 weeks of flowering. To be safe wait until 10 weeks to harvest. I hope this helps with your flushing schedule.

Flushing your soil will not remove anything from the plant that has already been taken in by the roots...I will never understand why people waste their time doing it.

to save on nutes. When its literally "that" close I'll give her some straight water

but to answer the op-it can take some strains a couple 2 or 3 weeks. If you have any light leaks ,it may take even more time

My mistake, flushing was the wrong terminology, what i should have said is to drop the nutes and just give ph'd water so she can use up the nutes stored in the leaves to get a better taste, however my question was not about flushing.

So maybe feed for one more week then ph'd water for the last week?
I am growing in coco/perlite mix so once food stops then there is nothing for her to eat except whatever is in her leaves.

Amber means the trichomes have degraded and there is less than 10% thc. The rest is undesirable CBN.
Flushing means you have no idea what you are doing and you listen to people that do not know what they are doing. (Buds do not store fertilizer)

carry on

And apparently you can't read, the question was "Once you see the first few trichs turning cloudy how long is it generally until you get mostly cloudy and a few amber" I didn't ask what it means if the trichs are amber. If you don't know the answer then don't post ... easy :)

And can you show me where i said that buds store fertilzer?

Did you read the whole thread or just the 1st post?
To be honest if i want to flush and harvest amber trichs thats really up to me, i'm the one smoking my plants :)

All i asked was one question which you did eventually answer so thank you for that :)

Edit: Which you have now deleted.

You said you want to flush, lol.
You did not supply enough information for a good answer.
It is different for different varieties.
Please do flush your plants, that would make sense for you.
Make sure to let your plants get really amber before you pick too.
You seem like a flushing, amber trichome kind of guy.
Go suck shit through a bendy straw. :D
I found your deleted post :)

STOP ! people that don't know what there doing . (SHUT THE FUCK UP) yes you can flush soil plants and the plants suck up the clean water to get rid or use up chemicals. have any of you hot shot non chemical flushers ever had your buds pro tested for safety ? or thc ? if no flush then no fucking way there considered medical mj. they would come back from the test as caution do not use ! and to be properly disposed of . and for some of those being cloudy . its time to start your flush. there almost there peak thc. once they are all cloudy the max thc. then as little as a day or 2 weeks. they turn amber. less thc more cbd. so scope them out daily. the bottoms will become amber before the tops most cases. and personal not. ( IF YOU FUCKERS WANT TO SMOKE CHEMICALS DO SO BUT SHUTTHE FUCK UP ! )

OK... to answer your question.... Wait-wait-wait... until you first see one amber tric, and then [if you must] water for only a week, when you "START" to get amber trics, your plant will still be making clear trics... so start any plain watering at that time... It's not a flush, its just watering without nutes... and yes amber is degraded, so you don't want too many, however, your plant makes clear trics until the day you harvest... Good Luck man... then after you harvest, it will still be turning clear trics cloudy, and cloudy to amber...
