I'm currently vegging under a 250watt lumatek HPS bulb. All good. It's pretty decent and so far i'm satisfied.I was thinking which one would be the best to flower with ? A CMH of the same wattage or a 250w HPS like the one i have right now ?which one would give the best buds? i'm in a 0.76m*0.76m*1.2m growtent .I would also like to know a good online source tha sells online and ships worldwide..thanks :D

Haha.Well i've started researching today.I can't find a decent bulb to buy.Have you ever tested/bought one ? I do have to order online because my local grow stores probably haven't got a clue on what it is :/

i take it you have not flowerd under the 250 hps at all?
both will give good bud/nug....as long as the genetics are good to start with.
lot of the online shops ship WW

Well i've grown a sleeskunk and a Green-O auto.I'm flowering right now 3 strains ,nearly harvesting 2 more Green-Os and vegging 12 plants.I got 2 tents ,one for veg ( 250w Lumatek HPS bulb+ballast ) , and 400w lumatek HPS dual spectrum hung vertically+ballast .I'll have to store my flowering tent (1,5m*1,5m*2m) and use 2 small tents (cuttings-veg,flowering) this July.I'm planning to start using this set up as soon as i buy it.I'm actually planning right now.

CMH all the way. I wad running 2 Philips allstart 330 last year until they were stolen among other things. They kicked ass. I got the same yield as a 1000w digilux and hortilux. Far more frosty buds and slightly more dense with CMH. The 330's put out a white light like being outside. The have very high par 1400 umole/s at 16 inches away and a 93 cri. Plus good amount of deep red , uva-a and uv-b. They are open reflector rated. Have a quartz crystal coating. Last 3 times longer than hps with less spectral degrading.

Will a 330 work with a 400 watt digital ballast? I have also been very interested in CMH. Just wasnt sure if I need to purchase a different ballast or hood to run them?

I'm sorry to bust your nuts but could you share a store that ships WW this bulb ? I've got a 400w lumatek dimmable digital ballast that can operate 250w-400w.Which one would work best and how should i operate this bulb? I'm still new to this and i can be a PITA ^^

Well i'll be using the set ups i have right now,and jump into this new set up when my sister is back from Switzerland in July.I will have to buy a new one since my room won't fit that huge tent,so i'll do it now to adjust sooner :)

Is this site legit ? I'll be needing a ballast + a bulb ? My lumatek 400w dimmable digital ballast won't support it ?
they are legit. The owner is sick. So sometimes he's is highly medicated . So he sometimes he lags on shipping. You might have to call him to make sure he sends it right away. He will talk your ear off about lighting too.

a digital ballast wont support it due Hz they run at. You can get the mag ballast from any hydro shop.

Perfect then! I've already sent an e-mail asking what do i need to run this CMH .I'm thinking 250w is enough for 4-6 clones in one gal pots flowering in a 0,76m*0,76m*1,2m grow tent ?

Edited my last posting, no way I'm spending the cash to buy new ballasts etc.
