hehe I was just wondering if anyone elses yeast and sugar bottles are becoming EXTREMLY alcoholic? I bravely just drank a little amount in some cranberry juice and am feeling pretty tipsed out on top of my stone!

yea your supposed to change out the liquid because the alcohol is what helps kills the yeast. and i wouldnt drink that because u can get poisoned. it needs to b distilled to remove all the rest of the stuff, but that is the basic way of making shine.

How much of this sugar and yeast combo would I need if I am growing 4 plants? And is yeast and sugar the only thing I need?

you can add other nutrients such as corn meal or straight corn. corn meal is prolly best just like add 1 lb of corn meal per 1 gallon of water, do the same with sugar, maybe a lil more, add about 3-4grams of yeast per gallon. as far as how much, I use one 2 liter coke bottle every 5 or 6 days for three lowrider plants, and I can see a huge diffrence, so i would say prolly as least double? as you can see by my picture its time for me to change mine. another thing is if you heat the mixture to about 125-130F for about 30-60mins it helps break down the nutrients and allows to yeast to eat better...but if you do this wait until the mixture is cooled to room temp b4 you add the yeast or it will die.

Right now I have a fan right behind my bottle of sugar-yeast-water pointing at my plant. I am hoping this will help facilitate the movement of the CO2 toward the plant but is this also wasting it if the CO2 moves too fast around the plant and disperses?

out of curiosity, how would you go about distilling the product and getting some shine as a bonus? (This would tempt me to actually make a CO2 setup lol)

umm well with a simple still. your either have to build one of buy one, its not the cheapest thing to do right, but its not that expensive..ive got 2 stills from prohibition that still work good, you just got to keep them up. but all you do it heat the liquid to around 180 but not about 212 and the alcohol will steam out then you condense it (using a condenser) back into the pur alcohol, but you must get throw out the first small amount(depending on how much you make) bc it will b unhealthy methanol. look on google for a more indepth look

I made a small still using a pressure cooker with a copper line out of the top into a copper coil that is cooled by ice in a coffee can, pretty primitive but works ok
