factor 50C refers to the combined current and temp droop at junction temp 50C
lm85C refers to lumen output at junction temp 85C
lm50C refers to lumen output at junction temp 50C
vf50 refers to the COB forward voltage at junction temp 50C
50C diss W refers to dissipation wattage at junction temp 50C
50c lm/ watt refers to lumens/Watt at junction temp 50C
50c % refers to the efficiency at junction temp 50C
umol/s/W refers to the photos/second/dissipation W (PPF)
$/PAR W refers to the cost in USD for each PAR W

Thanks man, believe me I get more in return from all the Rollitupers. The designs many of us are using have come from the collective contributions from so many DIYers. We could have a thread giving credit for what everyone contributed. I have always been afraid to do it because I know I would forget many and probably credit the wrong person LOL
 
Guys, me again. I'm studying cree led lamps for a few weeks, and I'm beginning to understand things, but something still doesn't make sense to me. If I use cree's tool at http://pct.cree.com/dt/index.html and fill with CXB3070 with CB bin, I see the list with current (amps) and lumens, lumens/watts, watts, etc. But the smallest current shown there is 1.400. On the beginning of this thread, the third post someone posted a "spreadsheet" with lower currents as low as 0.7.

My question is: how did you get those numbers for 0.7 current? Are these spreadsheets only PNG images or is there a excel or something available for download somewhere?

Top right of the page you linked, there is a drop down box for Current Range. Change that and you will have more options. I just put in CXB3070 w/ CB bin and was able to retrieve the numbers for everything.

Wouldnt that have been nice to have earlier..... hehe, Thanks! Would it be silly for me to go 4000k instead of 3000/3500k ? I have a hard time finding threads with full 4000k grows. Rumors say, that they give frostier and less chunkier buds. That sounds great, since I live with an annoyingly high RH. Often >60.... It is hard to control, so less dense buds, might not be too bad.... Although it sounds stupid...

I've heard from several growers that the plants seem to respond similarly from 2700k on up to 5000k. FWIW, popular choices are 3000k, 3500k and 4000k. I'm getting 3500k- and I'll be both vegging and blooming under them.

High RH isn't bad in itself; what you want to avoid is the rollercoaster, where it swings wildly every day. If it stays around 65% night and day, you're in great shape!

Oh it swings a lot.... Summer is coming, and often that means thunderstorms in the afternoon/evening. And the heat in day time, means a low RH, 30-40% and 80-90% by night time. Sucks. It is really hard for me to deal with and I weekly have to throw buds with budrot away.... >.< it also means that I cant let my plants go through their entire harvest window of fear, so I cut a bit earlier than Id like....

Gotta get that under control, it's the source of your budrot problems too.

I daily pray for no thunderstorms and rain, but apparently, Im not coming through. I know it is the problem, its a bugger. I will have to buy an AC, but I can only justify that purchase, if I make my grow area bigger..... xD

I did a run with v29 4k. The flowers were chunky indeed but i didnt think the frost was so great. The potency though was + fine.

I experience high humidity through the summer and early fall. It hasnt caused me any trouble. But i avoid flowering during those times.
