Coco / Cana A + B Nutrients

Hey all,

I've looked through for some answers but as we know, you can ask 10 growers the same question and get 10 different answers and admittedly i did not look all that well.

As the title suggest this is orientated around growing in coco with cana A+B Nutrients.

First time trying coco and absolutely clueless.. (friend who was willing to hold my hand through this process has fallen out of contact)

Specs:

Flipped 2 days ago (12/12)

Age: 1-2 Months Old from clones
Medium: Coco
Environment: 4x4 with oscillating fan and unidentified lights.

Feeding Regime:

2ml A + 2ml B + 4ml Rhizotonic + 1ml Procal - Per 2l of water. This will be done every time the pots become light/dry enough for their next watering/feeding.

Ideas as to what to do next: None.

Questions: What the f*** do i do now/what feeding regime do i switch to over the next 3 months or so? image0.jpeg

You want to be watering them once a day until run off and not let them sit in that run off.

I water multiple times a day but I'm automated.

You don't want them drying out.

I switched to dutchpro a while ago so I don't remember the exact ml per litre for canna which i used for many years but if you have an EC stick I'd aim for 1.2- 1.4 in veg and 1.4 - 1.6 in flower.
Mines the lower range because I don't use the rhizo or calmag ect.

If in doubt use the canna griw guide calculator and set it to light feed.

As a precaution, because you've been letting g them dry out, which allows unused nutrients to build up, I personally flush them now. Then feed 1.4 ec between 5.8 and 6.2ph

Thanks for the response man!

I forgot to add i've been running it at around 6.4ph with no ec stick!

So what should i increase and decrease in the nutes i've been feeding sorry?

Yea my first soil run had issues with build up of nutes within the medium and i was worried about the same occurring here right.

Flush with ph'd water?

6.4 is too high pH.

This is not soil.

Ph 5.8-6.2 for coco.

Try 2ml per litre of a and b.

Flush with a weak solution of nutrients pH 6.

Then reintroduce nutrients at the above rate.

You'd be better having a catch tray and elevated pots rather than saucers .
