What size pots would you use and watering frequency for those pots? cloth pots or hard plastic? I could set up a drip system but if not preferably something to water once a day. I was thinking of starting these in 1 gallon plastic pots? then for final flowering what material and size? Vegging for about 3-4 weeks. Also using Gh flora series. What feeding schedule would you do? and they'll be under either a 1000w hps or hlg 550 in 4x4 area. I'm just really confused with coco but I've seen really good results

Cloner -> Solo cups -> 2 gallon fabrics

When you first transplant they may only need feeds once every couple of days till roots establish. After the roots fill the pots then feed daily or multiple times per day. Make sure to get 10-20% runoff with each feed.

I use coco/perlite in my pheno tent and transfer into 1 gal pots to sex them and get a cut before flowering.
It's possible to keep them in the 1 gal pots, but you will need to feed/water them more often.
The other negative is that they are more prone to tipping over as they get bigger.
Once I've isolated the females, I put them in 3 gal pots and finish them.
3 gals are what a lot of folks use with coco.
I've got that tent set up as a DTW 3x3 tray and find that a single feeding/day with about 25% runoff seems to keep them happy.
I use Jacks 3-2-1 at 750ppm and a ph of 6.0

My fav coco info site.

I gotta have my coco multi-feeds automated. Open tube no drip.

I also hand water a couple times a week with Recharge. Recharge in my res is too messy.

Tim, I use Great White, at the last watering prior to refilling the rez I add a couple of gallon of RO to the rez for a flush. I set aside about a gallon and at the end of the flush I add Great White to the gallon jug and do a final flush with it. I then go back to the regular rez setup till the next rez change.
