Cocoa Powder as fertilizer

Anybody heard of using Cocoa Powder as fertilizer.

uh why would you do that? details please.

i just thought it would work because it is all natural

ya but what nutritional value would it have to plants. it wouldnt have any npk value

what brand Hershey? nestle? or are you talking powdered coco coir? cause coir doent have anything for available nutrients.

Thats not gonna work. If your intent is to give sugar and low dose of nutrients to the plant by doing so you are much much much better off using the tried and true unsulphured blackstrap mollasses. Its more of a flowering thing though, just go ahead and buy some decent veg fert, hell,even miracle grow would be better than it. I'm not telling you to get miracle grow in fact basically the opposite, unless you have no other possible choice. Look into foxfarm or advanced nutrients. Dont forget you need 2 different nutes, one for veg and one for flower.
