Color and Flavor additives?

Hey everyone, New to the site and i have a question: So I'm an old school dirt farmer and recently went into a Hydro shop to buy some nutes and I see all these Pineapple, Grape, lemon....... additives and color enhancers. So is that how these herbs are being flavored? I have tried some stuff from a club and I swear it tasted like they put Snow Cone syrup in the bag to make it smell. Seems to me if you like Grapes buy some grapes or a Fruit salad. Or are those things just a scam? Someone once told me to pour Welch's Grape Juice on my soil a week before harvest, never tried it.

As far as I know Worm, these will not affect the final product if added to the grow medium. Flavours and aromas can not be absorded through roots. They just absorb ions. I'm not too familiar with colour enhancers though. And as for actually applying anything to the surface of the plant to enhance things, people just need to do some research and find some genetics that express the certain traits they are looking for.

Let the genetics do their thing. The natural flavours and aromas will surpass any garbage added by humans.

I totally agree with natural flavors and aromas are the best. I was just hoping that these chemicals are NOT being added to the herb i purchase from clubs.

There's always the chance that they are!

It's all about the strains, forget adding crazy shit to your plants ahah.
