combo lighting

hey kids, quick question, i have a 4x4x6' box with a 400 watt mh, a friend told me if i add a 200watt cfl, it will be like usuing a 600watt...any truth?

you really cant compare the watts of a cfl to an HID light. although any extra lighting is always a plus, the cfl just dont have the penetration or intensity of the HID light.
