Conditions and their Effects

yes yield, but also flavour ,bud density ,leaf bud ratio etc

but what effects what?

for example iv read that high temps may cause denser buds???
is it true?
no dice....... high temps cause fluffy buds in my grow room, also effects taste and smell but mostly fluffy buds

high humidity during flower could cause mold issues and less trichome production

low humidity will cause leaf tips to brown and dry out

low temps will turn growth purple or kill depending how low you go

As for the airy buds, my first round had airy buds, but they were rather strong; great high. (they also dry out quicker) So they aren't the kiss of death, but them fat, hard, sticky icky, buds are just so cool :weed:

So......ive heard Metal halides are supposed to be gud for fluffy budz too, if i was to couple high temps with the mh ,would it make the more dense and solid strains turn out fluffier? will the genetics overpower the conditions? really i think wat im asking is how much can i control how my budz turn out? and how much is it strain related?

you sure could grow you sum fluffy buds that way but im not exactly sure why you would wanna do that........ dense buds are what most of us want

Yield and bud density are mostly strain orientated but I would still shoot for optimal conditions. You know to try and reach your plants full genetic capabilities. Heat stress is never good. Sure it may give you fluffy lac luster nugs but your doing a great disservice to your plants vigor and overall outcome by doing so. Heat should be as close to an even 75 as you can get and around 50-60% relative humidity. And no, genetics are no match for harsh conditions. If anything you will alter your plants genetic makeup and she will end up a hermy. Which is no good.... =P []Deace!
