Hey yall - firt time in coco - doig mothers earth coco perlite w extra layers of perlite and diamataeous earth every few inches as well as great white at the bttom of roots when transplanted into 3gal fabric pot. Running AN Connesiuer COCO A/B w GH silica Calmag and AN voodoo juice. Making a 5L RO water mix at 5.8-6.2 (the AN is pretty solid regarding the PH dont know about what else though considering my damn pictures here though) I'm feeding a few times a da, not untill runoff though - that may be wherre my issue is? Too much salt buildup causing lockup? Crispy leaves so i increased RH and lowered temp to like 65 temporarily. Plant is around 3 weeks into veg at 18/6. Spider farmer 2 abt 2 feet. I have an auto irigation spray set u i just need to whip up a new res bucket and throw the water pump in but i wanted to see what the rollup gods had for me - any info?

Thanks yal

you think thas it though? Its my first time in coco coming from dwc so im still learning this whole "feeding" concept haha im used to whippin up a resivioir and letting her swim for a week lol DWC doesnt get all the terps and heavy smells - plus the damn airpumps are drivin me nuts so im trying the swtch to coco

Also - in 5L of RO water - im giving 20ml of AD connesiur A and 20 ml of B, 20ml + of calmag, 4-5ml of Si from GH, and 5ml of voodoo juice which is coming in at a low low PPM of like 4-500 - What EC or PPM do you guys think a 8-10inch lpant of like 2-3 weks should be at?

Feed to runoff and check EC,should be the same as going in.If higher then more runoff.20ml of calmag per 5L RO water is a lot.

So mix up some 500 ppm food and pour it through one plant. Collect the runoff and check it’s ppm.
Calmag at about 2ml a litre should be ok with RO water.

Those plants are pretty small, so you don't need a super high ppm. You need to flush it out with nutrient solution to get rid of the excess salts and fix the ph. Start feeding at around 500 ppms until 30% runoff. Runoff is the most important factor in feeding coco.

That's 4ml/L of A and B which is manufacturer recommended full strength amounts. I highly doubt all those nutrients mixed together is 400-500ppm.

It's a shame AN doesn't list the ingredients of the A and B. I looked and looked and there is nothing listed on their website. I'd avoid any company that goes out of their way to hide the ingredients but claim how superior they are to others.

I thought the PPM wass quite low too, maybe my PPM meter is off - ill tried one and it said like 4500ppm on the 500 scale so I thought it was broken and then i tried anther and it said arund 500 so It seems i cleary have PPM meter issues lol

And yeah maybe I should just flush and use some good ol GH base nutes? Not the coco line unfortunately.

Too much nutrients/too high ppms for size of plant and size of pot. Dont treat coco like hydro, its almost like soil. Water to 10-20% runoff. Wait 4-7days until the pot is lightweight. Water again. Waterings are not feedings. Calmag is not a nutrient, its a supplement. It can be given every "watering". Also, because you stated you were water/feeding daily, that really is the problem. We haven't even gone over the lighting yet. Lowering the temps will further stunt them costing you more time. They are not dry/crispy leaves because of the air, it is from too much salt. Good luck
