Confused on Harvesting time for plant

Can someone tell me if this is good to go? I plucked a small bud off plant to check trichomes under loupe. Sites I've visited show some this color are good and some this color not ready and I'm confused as I don't want to harvest early. My strain is Cream Caramel and according to my calendar this is week 8 of flower and should be harvested now as harvest time is between 7-8 weeks. Its hard to tell from loupe as it looks clear but milky all at same time. Sorry for pic quality I tried to get the best close view as possible.

STOP CUTTING YOUR PLANT!
Did you know that the plant now has to spend time healing before it will shift it's focus back to bud development?
If the strain isn't from a reputable breeder that has resistant genetics.... I'd keep an eye out for nanners.
You may not have known ahead of time, but you really stressed the plant a lot by clipping it like that just to check the trics.
Take a jeweler's loupe and clip it to your phone and open your camera... switch to video mode and zoom in all the way.
Start recording, and move close up to the buds until you see a clear shot, then scan other buds as you desire. You can go back to the video and take screen shots of the clearer shots.

I'm not worried about stressing it. Its at its 8 week mark which is harvest time. This plant has 7-8 flowering time its now week 8. Just wondering if trichomes should be more milky color.

They look somewhat frosty on the leaves... but not like they should be. The calyx has to be examined with a scope or loupe.
You can't get any answers to your questions with these pics sorry. Not accurate answers anyhow. Just a bunch of guesses, or ppl giving you crap for not giving them anything to work with in order to help you out.
Try to get some closer pics. There's already a few ppl here waiting to help.

You can chop now or wait 2weeks for more couchlock

Chop her, Hang upside down inside tent or other dark space, wait untill the stems snap when u bend it. Jar & enjoy :)

Just because the breeder says the plant will finish in 8 weeks, doesn't always hold true. Add a couple weeks. Use the breeder flowering time as a reference.
I second this. For couchlock add 2-3 to whatever the breeder said.

When you harvest is solely dependent on the type of high you want. No one can guide you on that unfortunately. More amber trichs equals less of a head high and more body. Decide what type of high you’re after and chop away. Just make sure NOT to chop when your trichs are clear, then you’ve harvested too early.

Ill take some better pics later today. Is it ok if leaves are dying and getting somewhat crispy around buds?
