he won't harvest early.....even in the greg green info that you posted it says that regardless of early 12/12 they will finish roughly the same time as if you wait for pre-flowers....

is a post count the same as experience.........i think not.......what about a PHD in botany....Robert Connell Clark..has one...he has a good book...it's called marijuana botany...talks all about flowering and when it begins...great read....

i have done it try like maybe days to 2 weeks depending on how early you throw it in..i've vegged for 2.5 weeks started 12/12 and harvested within days of on time.......roughly the same means about the same close but not quite....if it was't even close they would say your flowering time will be way off not roughly the same............

botanist speak of plant specifics. the specific point a plant starts flowering is 12/12 because flowering hormones begin to be produced. but that does not mean it is FLOWERING to a marijuana cultivator. Im not looking @ chemicals, Im looking for buds.

yes but we are talking about when you start the count so you know when your buds are ripe...the count begins at 12/12 and ends at when the trichomes tell you it's ripe......at least this is how us oregon peeps do it, in the OMMP, growin medical grade cannabis...what would we know...no good cannabis from oregon...right.......

roughly means close, not quite. you said it. so maybe you'll listen to yourself. roughly is close. but NOT THE SAME!!! close can be three weeks. three weeks can mean the difference between pass or fail, good or shit. in this case, you're telling this guy that he's been flowering for two weeks when it's really been two. in this case you would have him harvest early, if he goes by time and not by trichs.
you are screwing your fellow grower. how do you feel? is it fun?

i understand where you are comming from bro...but you can't look at a plant and see phytochrome or the chemical changes that occur when you change the photo period.......but trust me they happen as soon as the plant sees 12 or more hours of darkness it's fact............also I can see signs of flowering very soon...but not in a photo...I need to be with the plant and my 30x loupe..

yes, these chemical changes do occur. these chem changes are not the definition of flowering. look it up. the changes are what make the plants force themselves to mature faster, and force flower. but, they are not flowering until they put out flowers. they're just in the right condition to do so.
