Considerations for a small breeding tent.

I’ve gotten really interested in doing some chucks lately. I’ve found enough kickass females that I think it’s time to try reversing some of them, and much more recently I’ve found a couple really promising looking males. I’ve totally immersed myself in this for the past 2 years. It’s time to start making my own beans.

Anyway I’ve decided on a 2x2 tent with a qb96 running of a 185-54a for the light. I plan to exhaust it outside so that my other plants don’t get dusted, and kill the males as soon as I think they’ve shed enough pollen to fertilize the other plants in the tent but before they can release a shitload. I know there will be some trial and error and some of my other plants might end up with a few seeds, but I hope to keep that to a minimum.

Anyway here’s a pic of my grow room. It’s small and I also use it for music. I can fit a fourth tent in there but that will be it. My girlfriend would not be okay with me putting it in a different room. So here’s my plan and I’d like to know if it’s good. The fourth tent will be a 2x2x4. It will be closest To the window. I’m putting an inline fan on top of it and running ducting straight out the window. I’ll get one of those air conditioner things so the window is sealed against the exhaust and nothing can get back through the window. I’ve already got prefilters in the intake ports of all my tents. I’m planning to put some wet microfiber rags over the prefilters and misting the whole room down with water while the pollen is out.

This is going to be my very first attempt at breeding. I know I don’t have it all figured out, so any input would be greatly appreciated. Here’s a pic of the space I’m working with. There’s already 3 tents in there and a fourth will be the absolute limit.
