Hello I am self proclaimed noob. But anyways, I have a 5 foot tall room 5 feet wide and 12 feet long. At first I had a 400 watt Hps open hood growing 8 ladies looking real good with a wal*mart ventilation set up. They were about 2 feet tall and then I got this bright Idea since its so cold here, to install a 1000 watt hps bulb in my room with an open hood. Bad Idea, I fried my plants a bit. So I unplugged the 1000 watt light and have the 400 watter running, but now the plants kind of look like shit from being cook but I should still have some survivers lots of seeds to start agian though. My question is do I have enouf room to upgrade my 1000 watt light by installing a air vented reflector tube hood with a big ass blower fan on the end or shoud I just give up on the whole 1000 watt idea. If I do keep the light and everything if it is well ventelated how close can the females get to that light? here is link to cool tube. and should I also get a cool tube for the 400 watter so i can run them on the same air line.
