My take, Berner is not the breeder, I have not seen him claim to be the breeder. He said he work with his growers or breeders, really I think he just knows what good weed looks like to him. His breeders seem to be full of shit to either not give away what the crosses actually are or because they don't want to admit thier foundational genetics were others work.
What bums me out is that the marketing campaign was so successful that everything became crossed with cookie variations. You have to go out of your way to find genetics that don't have cookies or gellato or sunset sherbert. Not saying thay stuffs not good but to me there not much variety in effect especially.
Cookies is not your weed heads company, they are the McDonald's of weed. There's an episode of Berners weed show or whatever where he goes to Jamaica to talk about his collab with Damien Marley(which bums me out knowing it'll get mixed with jamaican genetics, Arjan is also there) either way it shows Berner smoking some weed Marley gave him and you can tell dude is used to his cookies because he gets all high and paranoid talking about how he has to spaceout how much he smokes that stuff. Its pretty funny.
