I mixed sub cools version 2.0 recipe. And I’m about 4 weeks into it. At the beginning I noticed it was hot And had condensation on the lids and there were some webbing on the top. So I didn’t mix it I think I let it dry out. I didn’t have the lids on closed but it’s inside garage. They’re in two 55 gallon totes. Now there’s no Sign of webbing and it’s cool no condensation on the lid. I remix every other day on tarp and poke holes in it with a large steak. I have holes poked in the totes too. This is my first time amending my own soil it should have been almost complete but I don’t feel like it’s even started composting yet any ideas on what I could do I’m about to harvest my plants in two weeks and dry and cure would love to have the soil ready to use for next run. I do have to veg out a little first of course. Do I need to add Mychorrizae or compost tea. I don’t smell any sign of it being anaerobic And using purified water any advice or help would be awesome thank you

Maybe you're disturbing it too much. I haven't officially disturbed my soil in 7 grow cycles now. Bacteria like oxygen true, but if you want things to thrive they still need a stable home. How would you like it if you were forced from your "home" everyday and tossed about on a tarp, then packed back into some unknown wilderness after?

Ok ok thanks for feedback. I have holes in the tote so I’m just gonna try and leave be for next few weeks and see what I get. That could def be a variable I’m agitating a lot tbh

Do you ever feed soil compost tea before you plant in it. like while it’s composting?

You WANT that web! That is your fungal growth and there is a lot id benefits in that! You do not want to let an organic soil or supe soil dry out. You need all that moisture supporting the micro herd breaking down all those things you put in it. That is why it was hot!
