Cooling down tent suggestion

Hey just wanted to throw this out there as someone who has been struggling to keep temps under 90F in my tent. My wife suggested leaving the bottom 1/3 of the zipper unzipped to increase airflow. Didn’t think it would work but I’ve been at 81-84F so far this morning. Hoping this keeps working!!!

Dont need the extractor fan untill it starts stinking the place out, and if that's inside the tent itself it will generate heat from continously using it, defintly good idea leave tent open slightly . Open all vents just make sure its still pitch black when the lights go off,

I used to run 2 1000s that had built in fans and struggled with heat, my tent is double zippered so I'd keep the top part unzipped to help, now I've switched to 1 2000 and haven't had an issue with heat at all tent temp stays right around 28°

So I have a 24 hour timer I could put the exhaust on so that it runs every other 30 mins. Or every other hour. Think that would be better than continual? Figured I needed it going 24/7 since it was always hot

Have you also tried running your lights on a different schedule, I run autos on a 19/5..my lights are off 1-6pm the warmest part on the day

So I’m mid flower doing 7a-7p to time up with light outside(wife suggested it if I can do what she wants it makes my life easier. That’s a good idea though!!!! As long as it’s going I can dim it just not to start it up

The problem with leaving the tent door open is you'll draw in dust, lint, pet hair if you have them, etc... that will get embedded in the buds as they ripen and get sticky. That's why it's best to open as many vents as you can and filter them. Some tents have more vents than others.

I have a Sicilian wife, I know all about happy wife happy life lol, the only thing I found with the tent unzipped abit was some dank smell was escaping to ..but if that not an issue for you 82° is good ..and if you get it lower during dark that good too

I was running exhaust at 100% 24 seven but I just turned it down based on the advice above. If temp goes back up I will probably put it back on 100% or increase it

This is my only fear of leaving it open

Whoa hold on here...turn up the exhaust brother what is the issue exactly? Too hot so you opened the tent but are running at 30%. Run it as high as necessary to keep it closed, all vents open.
I'm only suggesting to turn the exhaust fan down if its adding to the OPs heat issue, if its not then run it at higher speed
