Cotton Candy in Coco/Soil Garage Grow (Lots of Pics)

I am not entirely sure. Its a clone from a cotton candy seedling, Federation Seed Co.

The explain the lineage to be:
An old Vancouver Island strain that originates from Afghani and Blueberry/Haze seed lines, recognized by the medical community for its pain relief without the drowsiness. Wonderful fragrance with an earthy flavor and long lasting high.

I have also heard that it maybe a godsgift x blue cheese but I'm not sure where that would come from. Either way its amazing, I love it. Starting to smell very sweet last night. I believe the ISS is also Federation as I found them listed together on the Hemp Depot website.

Do you know the genetics on cotton candy? I'm growing Romulan, Mikado and ISS ATM. My ISS is like cotton candy in structure and taste. I'll sub for this.

These pictures were from last night, barley a day later I cant believe the crystals. We arent even half way yet. Most of the pictures are of bottom buds as I cant get the angle right to catch the crystals on the top colas.

So pretty :o:o

Cool well I am pretty sure that Mikado is half of the genetics. That would explain the branching of it too. I thoughth that ISS might be the other but I don't think there is any blueberry in the ISS unless it was used in the outcross. Anyways keep up the good work.

I was so happy everything was going so well but I caught some weird growth on a few of the buds. I have never grown this strain before so I figured it was a bit leafy but this looks more off then normal.

They are 28 days into flower, half way and most of them look like this

I sat in the room for 10 minutes to let my eyes adjust and I noticed there maybe some light coming thru some seems that are taped with duct tape. But its so so hardly noticeable. My timers also have an orangle glow that I covered in duct tape but I can still kind of see it on the edges. Would things like this make some of the plants reveg like this? :-(:-(:-(:-( And I mean this light is very very slight, as in i never noticed it until I sat in there a while and stared at the edges of the walls.

Looks normal to me, I think your okay. I don't see any hermies or anything and single blaaded leafs are common towards the top of flowering plants.

This strain is supposed to be ready between 55-60 days, I have my schedule set at 8 weeks which is 56 days. Do you guys think I should change it to 60 days. Everyone on another thread keeps saying they look like their only 3 weeks in. Tomorrow would be the start of week 5.

sub'd - beautiful set up.... I just bought 2 cotton candy clones from my local dispensary. They're vegging now - I'm excited to watch your grow.

Awesome what dispensary? We supply clones to many here in socal so if you are down here you might have the same plant :)

Norcal - Central Valley.... and just FYI - my friend had a green light on smoke detector (the tiny green one that says battery is good)... jack her up royally! So when you say very very faint.... there's no such thing man.... it's black or nothing.... Happy Growing!

I see you are growing the Church, I really love that strain. Totally mold resistant and the finished product is just so awesome. Good luck on that, SLH is the sh*t too. :)

yes - the Church is really surprising me.... I'm so happy with her flowering right now.... I thought she would be the one to give me trouble... but not - I'm real happy and a big fan of Greehouse Seed Co. Good seeds that germ... and good product.

Day 30 is absolutely sparktacular, snow storm is really doing its job. Another 30 days to go, these ladies are just beautiful.

OMGGG check this out!

Oh also do you guys think these are half way done or do they look like they'll go long. I worry about cutting them down at 8 weeks if they really need 9. Id like to change my schedule now before I get into the last 2 weeks of feeding before the flush.

I wish I had the time to let all the strains go and extra 2 weeks and see how it goes :)

Looks great! I wonder if this is the same as Cotton Candy Kush? I picked up a clone of CCK recently, and it does pretty much look the same. I haven't flowered mine yet though (growing it out for a mom). Here's some info I found on CCK:

Cotton Candy
Genetics: Sweet Pink Grapefruit X Mendo Purps
Flowering Time: 8-9 Weeks
Effect: Nice Clear Uplifting Buzz
Bouquet: Sticky Sweet Cotton Candy
Environment: Indoor/Outdoor
Plant Height: Medium-Tall
This is an Indica cross which is easy to grow & quick to finish. Cotton Candy maintains a short height through flowering, so it works out well with in a low ceiling & sea of green method. It is proven to be hardy & stable. Turns Pink & Purple before harvest.

It was the 1st place winner in the Emerald Cup last year.

This is Cotton Candy from federation seeds, pretty much afghani and blueberry... although this isnt specific on all of the descriptions.

This started out do indica, so short and fat and took off so quick at this point Im not so sure anymore.

I WOULD LOVE to grow the CCK, Mendo purps is a favorite of mine. I have a nice cut from norcal but the yields arent that great. Ive heard great things about Sweet Pink Grapefruit

Sometimes I just cant stop taking pictures lol.... hit a decade this year whoooooo

This would be my first harvest with all the great things california has to offer. I grew up in Miami, FL and it was very limiting in terms of genetics and nutrients.

Greenlight - F**k me! Those pics are awesome.... how long have you really been growing?

Awesome grow! I just grew the same strain myself. I live in Midwest and grew from seed. I absolutely love this strain. I had to slap my own hands from rubbing the leaves to smell that sweeeeeeet aroma. Still unsure if I harvested too early, this has been my first grow ever (other than shrooms). Anyway, Great Job! My only wish is that I had more than one seed to go from, but at least it was a 100% success with that one! Anyway, new to site and just sayin hey and agreeing how badass this strain is.
