Could someone suggest a entry-level vaporizer?

I've never tried this before, so I'm not looking to break the bank, if I can get away with it.

Please, any suggestions, prices, links... would be greatly appreciated.

You can find an Arizer Solo for @ $128 (including shipping and tax), a high quality vaporizer with an entry-level price.

I see the ones you posted Ilovebush. More portable types, cool. I'm not sure what would be the best for my application. I'm thinking possibly not a rechargeable kind, as I could see me now, waiting for the thing to recharge.........waiting.......

If anyone has experience with both types, I'd like to hear the pros and cons. Besides the obvious battery charging..

Otherwise, I found a Da Buddha one new online for $140, and think I'm going to pull the trigger on it.

Not pushing the Arizer, but you can use it while its charging. I chose it for price, its ability to be used while charging and the fact that the reviews essentially rate its quality as high as the Volcano. (It gets rated lower than the Volcano on ease of use, but its very easy to use.)

I also recommend the Arizer Solo. I have one and the construction quality is top notch. It can be used on the go or, as other users have long-mentioned, it can be used as your primary desktop vaporizer at home.

It uses convection (rather than conduction or combustion) to heat your herb resulting in a more "pure" experience. It allows full control over the temperature of the oven, which can be important as you gain experience with vaping. Some users prefer a lower temperature (more THC content) while others prefer a higher temperature (increased CBD content). Plus you'll find that some strains cook better at one temperature setting as compared to another strain.

The newest model allows you to run completely stand-alone and off the battery as well as when plugged in, giving you full on-the-go portability or home-on-your-couch operation.

Another satisfied Da Buddha customer here.

I route the hose into a glass bong, and while that may be cumbersome to some, I've got no probs with the additional hassle.

Regardless of the brand you choose, methinks you will enjoy vapes as they offer flavor that combustion doesn't, and they don't introduce burnt shit into your lungs.

Best of luck with your choice.

Well, I purchased a Da Buddha at Vapor Seller for $141 with free shipping. It could be a week or so before I get it. I will report my experience.

Wilksey, you've gotta show me your set-up! I think a table-top vaporizer was most suitable for my purposes, so the extra circuit/bong extension sounds like a cool possibility.

There are a bunch of box looking vaporizers on e-bay that you can find for very cheap. They typically look like http://www.ebay.com/itm/FAST-SHIP-110V-Digital-Heat-Healthy-Herbal-Vaporizer-V100-Classic-Color-WHIP-/191077898358?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item2c7d215876 . I have one very similar to that, only ended up spending $35 and got a pretty kickass vape that's been working for several years. Depends how much you're looking to spend of course, the cheap ones work just fine too though =). My advice look around on e-bay for Herbal Vaporizers

So, the saga continues... First, thanks to everyone that posted replies! I still haven't received my vaporizer and there's a twist to the plot. They(Vapor Seller) were out of the Da Buddha vaporizer, but said they would "upgrade" me to an Arizer Extreme Q 4.0, which I agreed to. However, I've noticed that vaporizer is the same price as the one I originally ordered, so as far as I'm concerned that equals lie #1. Lie #2 happened today, as they said I would get it by Monday 3/10. I will call them tomorrow and ask about the "upgrade" BS.

Anyway, I should get this vaporizer within a couple days.

So, does anyone know anything about the Arizer Extreme Q 4.0? I'd like to hear anything about it.

I like it too! Strange, as it doesn't really smoke(vapor) visibly, but I notice what I feel!

I'm a little stumped about the temp settings, though. What, do you find is a appropriate temp? I've kept it at 216c ;)
