Hey guys, just wanted to start off by saying high-five on this site. Everyone here is super helpful, and is down for the cause. It's nice to see people coming together to help each other out, because these days, it's not such a common thing.

Ok, well enough of that.

So, this is my first grow. I don't know exactly how old they are, but one is dominating over the other growth-wise.

i'm using two 23wcfl's on 24/0
the soil is Edna's best, organic
I used some shitty nuets for two days, and realized that they were not NEARLY strong enough, being that it was 10-4-3 (didn't know any better)
I just purchased stronger nuets, but have not used them yet that are 30-10-10
there is an oscillating fan on the plants 24/7.
The temperature in my grow box is 82 degress
I pour tap water into a jug and let it set

Now, I realized about 5 days ago that I was watering WAAAAY too much. 2-3 times a day. It's been like 4 days since I've watered, I'm waiting for the soil to dry out completely before I water again, and when I do, it will be with the new nuets.

In the past couple days, my dominant plant's fan leaves have taken on some yellowing and some of the leaves tips have curled up.

also, I know that the plate as a water drain is a bad idea, as the water just sits there after it has strained through the soil. I need to find something to replace it, but since I have not watered for a while, I haven't gotten around to it.

How am I doing? Can you tell the sex of the plant? I know this is my first grow, but I want to make sure I have all the basic principles down before I pursue my next grow.

thanks ahead of time guys.

Yea better nutes will help them out a lot! Also what is your ph? Also I see it is your first grow. You will not be able to tell sex until you throw them in a flowering stage :) Also yes you wayyyyyyy over watered! LOL do some searching around in the 101 already asked questions or in the FAQ's and that should answer most of your questions.

I would lay off the nutes for a few waterings...your soil probably already still has them unless you flushed the soil a few times.....I would say drop the lights a little closer to the plants and don't feed for a few...just some water....that is my thought....once you have watered a couple times re introduce the nutes very gradually
