Hey everyone! We are a couple that recently became legal in Michigan.
We have done research for years and feel we are finally mature enough and financially ready, to grow our own medicine. We are SUPER f#cking pumped lol.
Understanding the plant or how it grows i.e. lighting, enviroment, etc... isnt the problem as we are both very confident in our abilities because we've grown other crop quite succefully and one of us has had a few indoor grows over the past ten years.
Our real debate has been fueled by the number of plants we are both legally able to have now combined. 24 between the two of us(the few past grows consisted of 2-4 plants total from seed to flower)
We decided we are definitely going to grow hydroponically.
We are throwing around the ideas of a 12 rockwool cube station tray in veg tent with an auto drip timer system and a d.i.y. 12-site "oxygen pot type" system with 5 gallon buckets with suspended smart pots for the flowering tent. (Open to suggestions for maximum yield in least amount of time)
Ideally we would like:
to get 12 clones first and veg them for 4-5 weeks (depending on the strain of course)
When those 12 are ready, move them to the flowering tent and put 12 new pre-purchased clones in veg and so on and so on..
..and yes...we've definitely considered having our own mothering/cloning tent later down the line.
What sized tents should we use for veg and flower areas for that amount of plants(12..i should be able to get a smaller veg. tent than the flowering tent correct)
Whats the best tent combo!? The possibilities are endless, its amazing!
Also open to lighting(im going L.E.D. for sure but open to size, brand suggestions) ...and nutrient ideas coupled with your tent suggestions. 1g per watt is the goal here right lol? Thanks guys and gals!
P.s. totally new to the "auto strain" world. If i can flower 24 "autos" in one tent and not have seperate tents thatd be awesome. If there is anyone willing to share their knowledge of how to flower them and what they require thatd be great.
