covering up smell

please i need some good ideas here, got a few girls going now and its about time to start thinking about how to cover up there loveley aromia. im limited on funds and will need to build a homemaid carbon filter. i was going to use a 5 gallon bucket, fill it full of active carbon, poke holes around the bottom of the bucket, in the lid cut out a hole big enough to put a dryer hose in the top, cilicone it and put a fan on the other end of the hose forsing the air through the carbon but i cant find a small fan that will force as much air as i need, i can use any help here or any ideas that will work, would love to c a good design on how to build something like this

I have the same problem and i am going to pay attention to wat ever any one says but i went down to my local smoke shop and they got all kinda of grow stuff there i saw this big jar like thing and it had a type of slime in it and u put it into beer cups or cups and put it all around your house or grow room and it kills odor ? has anybody heard of this stuff i have no clue wat its called im guna go by there soo and see about picking some up theres another kind very similar its like a circle sponge and u open it up and it kills odor in the air weird i know but good luck man

The Slime is ONA Gel.

I have a carbon filter which works really well. But I use the ONA Gel also, I buy it by the Gallon. I sit it around in cups near places I don't want any smell. Front Door, Garage Door, etc. and it also works well with a slight odor.

You MUST get is the carbon filter -> run it 24 hours a day.

When I was running my carbon filter just when the lights were on, a friend came over and he pointed out the smell (which I couldn't really smell), now I run it 24/7.

Ona is good but it treats the symptoms not the problem. A carbon filter is what you need. Get one that exchanges the air in the room at least once every 3 minutes. To figure it out multiply the dimentions of your room (l x w x h ) and divide by 3. That number is the minimum CFM you should get. Also you can use a Ozone generator or UV light to reduce smell.

How do you exchange the air every 3 minutes if you're running co2? That would use a LOT of co2.

you cant run the fans and do CO2. You're basically wasting it then.

scrub the air in the room with charcoal filters, doesn't affect the c02. use the gel outside the room as a added protection.

I'm sure the Duct Feeder will work.

I jury rigged something similar in my drying box. On the out side of my dry box I have a collector box above my exhaust fan which has a bowl which I put the ONA Gel. So all of the exhaust is directed over a bowl of ONA Gel.

I was amazed the first time I tried it, because you couldn't smell my buds drying. I did need to keep adding to the bowl.
