Cree lights for veg?

I vote for all 5000k. That's what I use for both my mother and veg and it works very well. They grow well and don't stretch a lot. I use this Philips bulb http://www.homedepot.com/p/Philips-...immable-LED-Flood-Light-Bulb-425280/203553286 with the lens removed with 4 10w 5000k bulbs for my mother for about 55w total. My veg light uses 8 Vero13 5000k emitters running at 10w each for a total of 80w.

Have you considered a DIY COB build (those fried eggs)? for a 2x2 area in veg, you could probably get away with 1 or 2 cobs.
They're more efficient than the cree bulbs, and also just plain cooler looking.

I have been thinking about them as they are more efficiant, but I'm not DIY man per say so that"s the only thing making me apprehensive.....

I use the lightbulbs, 5000k spectrum for mother/clone/veg. Pretty much just like cfl, except you need less IMO. I also turn on a DIY cob 3070 for about 10-12 hours a day in there as well. Its really intense so I don't need it as Much. But I figure it helps balance it out

@vitamin_green_inc I offered predd the same setup your using but for some reason he doesn't want the cxa3070 AB bin cobs.
