My plants are in about week 5 of flowering and my top growth looks like crap, the buds look fine and so do the bottom leaves.

I'm using the house-garden.us nutrients.

and i had ph problems a while back but that should be taken care of.

any help much appreciated!

Heavy ph fluctuation did you flush them. I think all you can hope for is healthy new growth don't over nute or let salts build up as a new indoor grower i take a very cautious approach to nutes and watering

i keep my ph at about 5.7, the run off is normally 5.5 and has been stable. its been about a week and a half since i had a bad ph problem with something nasty growing in my pump.

How much nutes are you using? They look burnt but it could be a crazy P def.

I'm using the hydro nutrient from house-garden.us and their feeding guide. i am on week 6 of the 8 week schedule.

i am using all their additives as well... shouldn't their shooting powder take care of that?

70-80 f I try to keep at 75, 45-60% RH and they are in a 5x5 tent with a 1000w HPS and it is a little over 21 inches from the tip of the tallest plant.

Id flush but I dont think thats what it is. Is your light and hood vented? That looks like a heat issue to me.

light hood has a can fan on it running 24/7 and a oscillating fan 24/7.... temps very rarely get over 80F

Then I would say you have to be locking out or burning with nutes. If you had great ph and atmoshere you would have nothing wrong recheck your ph levels.

Useing "plain" water can never be bad as far as i know, assuming the ph is what you say it is. i could be wrong

I agree with the above post. it looks a lot like heat stress but if that isnt it I would start looking at your nutes

Ok. i flushed them, and it makes sense that just nutes kept building up and up in my rockwhool causing them to burn. (i hope)

So should i just continue to water with the same strength nutes after i flushed them?

No reduced. Less is better with nutes. Start with 3/4 strength of what you were using and if you need to add more.

do they look doomed? i'm worried my first grow is going to be a flop.
Your not doomed, you will get a harvest, and hopefully they will get back on track. Free bud is never a failure, Also its a great learning experience for your next grow. Good Luck, Lamp
