Critical... 10 days?

I just ordered some critical and lemon skunk, they recomend that in a tent you should only veg Critical for 10 days due to final size. Can any body back this up, as my tent is already on 12/12 so I was going to put them both under a cfl for 2 weeks before putting them in the tent under the hps.
Would a 20w cfl be enough for 1st 2 week after germination?

I mean, they won't die, but that is cutting it pretty close. I'd get at least three of those on there if I were you. They're not going to grow much beyond seedlings under a single 20W

Maybe saying 2 weeks was a bit long, I just need them to break soil really before putting them with the White Widow and Big Bang in the tent.
I used to use an 18w cfl for 1 plant at a time for a week in the prop.box, they would grow but with small as hell leaves, then BOOM! Under the 400w hps they exploded into life.
Spaces to grow in my place,(exept my tent) are silch, I cant rig up anymore lights other than just the 1 in a small cabinet, thats why I can only use 1 for the 2 seeds.

i am currently flowering critical from advanced seeds too i vegged mine for around 20 days under around 50w of cfl you should be alright startin it 12/12 from seed its not to bushy or to big imo id say mine is around 50cm tall i vegged my 3 barneys blue cheese for the same amount of time and 2 of them tower the critical and are a lot bushier too this critical started to flower very quickly iv got little buds on them already tho the blue cheese are still shooting out female preflowers i cant wait i started this grow streight after my last and am paraniod about bein busted by feds i really dont want the hassle but the outcome is to nice after this harvest im hanging up my gardenin tools for a while
