FastFacts

  • KC Branis Original northern lights
  • used the cup of water germination method
  • 4/5 germinated
  • use 4 23w + 1 30w cfls, dont know which spectrum but i think it is warm white but theres no such information on the pakages

heres my plants after a week from when i first putted my seeds in water [day 7] the 2:nd pic is my 4:th plant and its looking crazy

heres the next day [day 8] wtf is it in the 4:th pot:-?

im really appreciate your comment

this is how i germinated

  • first i scuffed my seeds
  • then i put my seeds in a glass filled with 1/4 of warmish water
  • then i put my glass in a worm and dark place and wait for them to "crack" open , so i can see a taproot commin out of the seed
  • then i plant my seeds in my medium , root down doesn't really matter bcus the root will go downwards anyway
  • and finaly i just wait for the first leafs to come up :)

To germ in water i use a 50%water 50% H2o2, let them sit in it for 24hrs, then straight to the medium.

i wonder if i should add nutrients , i water them when the soil is almost completely dry and i spray them several times a day

this is my first grow so im tryin' to keep it simple
superthrive : i dont really know what it is and i cant get it locally so i skip it
and i havent checked the PH in the pots but my tap water is about 7 so it should b fine and i live in Sweden so I can proudly say im using the "best" tap water in the world

your water ph might be 7 with your soil pH very different, perhaps bad for your plant. you can either measure the pH of the runoff water or the pH of the soil directly but measuring the pH of the water doesn't tell you if your plant is experiencing high or low pH

good growing. it looks like its time to consider a very low dose fertilizer - maybe 1/8 or 1/4 the recommended strength
