Crossing THC plant with CBD plant to get All-rounder

The CBD content checker is a new one on me too, so thanks for that. Will be testing that out soon.
It's called the Beam's Test and you need a 5% sol'n of KOH, (potassium hydroxide) for the reagent that you add a few drops to a few mls of decarbed pot extract that you hope has CBD in it. I use 0.2g of sample in 6mls of naphtha but Lighter fluid for Zippo lighters will work fine. Swirl it around for a while then suck up the naphtha with a syringe to put in a clean vial then add the drops of reagent. If you see a red/purple colour you got CBD and teh darker the colour change is the higher the CBD content. If you use exact measurements for each sample you can compare the colour to see which is highest.

Here I used a THC strain for #I and 4 CBD ones for the rest. V was supposed to be an all CBD strain that I planned to use for breeding stock but showed no reaction at all. I was so disappointed I went down to the grow room and hacked her off at the base mercilessly!

Sir, thank you so much.
This has opened a door I never knew existed.

I am very old-school in my growing, because , well, I went to school a long time ago!

It's like I've just woken up back in School when I thought I'd already Graduated.
Never too late. I went back to school in my 30s to get a diploma in environmental chemistry and that was over 30 years ago. Still learning new stuff all the time. Helps keep the oldtimerz disease away. ;)
