Wow fancy equipment FOR NOT HAVING AC!! ha ha..Hope the cheese come's around spray it in the am with cool water!!really!!I'm poor so can't go down that road with me!!ha ha...same boat has same hole's leaking ....bet the propagator is in the house huh?? watch the flower box for sign's of life and if it does grow the girl out...good luck! jack
My propo's in the kitchen haha you know me so well already LoL

Before, when my vegging stuff was looking sad, I'd put it in the 12/12 box for some intense light for a day or two and the new growth was always shocking and always brought my ladies back to life...
So maybe...

Trouble is, I think it could be a bit more serious this time - it has the look of death :(
AND
Zero drainage from beneath the pot. Water just pours from the top and the soil is logged up... I have no idea what that's all about. Before I potted up the water wasn't sitting and ONLY draining out the bottom lol. Up's and down's of an urban grower eh :)
One thing I know for sure is that my flower box will dry out ANY soil lol Quickl! I'll have another look in later this night (my lights-on cycle runs over night) and see what's up.

NO Co2 distribution for the fat bottom girl's!! lol jack
Question
I had wondered if I should consider trying out some co2. Many people said that it would only be sucked straight out thru the fans and be useless. So whats the real deal with this? Doesnt yours get sucked out or do you maybe run it on a timer with the fans?

Just checked in on my cheese. No movement what so ever apart from further drying :( ill take a pic tomoz, bit too sad to take one today really.
shes gone back into the veg box and expected to be dead by morn...
Edit: i put her back into the veg box cos of the thrips, didnt want them spreading...

Checked my caramelo with the scope and found thrip shit! (unlike the cheese she is thriving with the high temps). And of course further inspecting found one or two thrips.
I have had aprob for a while with these fuckers but have it mostly under control after some insecticides. So am surprised to actually still see any. I doubt theyre what killed my cheese as im convinced it was the high temps

It's heavier than air so it fall's down so as long as it has time to drop!you can see I just use the Co2 Boost Bucket but they do the job...people who say it doesn't don't have them and are just jeelous..I use in vege which is not neccessary but look at the fullness! jack...99.00 well worth it!!!View attachment 2246532!429 cfm exhaust thru lamp outsideCo2 boost!!.jpg

Your room does look very nice :)
i was looking (ages ago) at co2 tablets with the intent of putting a water container in the box. Just was alway worried about the fans. I may take the inspiration to try it out!

Before and after - the before shot was only less than a week ago, a few days after up potting and was looking like she'd taken really well to it. The after shot was yesterday, today it's even drier :(
I've given her a lil drink, but I'm expecting it'll be her last... if she doesn't perk up again by tomoz, I shall put her out of her misery lol so to speak. Yes, it's HUGELY disappointing, but y'know, the show goes on.

IMG-20120703-00123.jpgIMG-20120709-00141.jpg

Caramelo, on the other hand. Has sat next to this Cheese plant its entire life and also has responded well to the new environment in that it's no longer stunted (WOOO) and it's no longer showing signs of any NEW deficiencies, or old ones. I think I may wait a little longer though before I make any decisions about up potting... At this point I'd rather throw her in to flower, just in case, as she's now my only viable option for my next cycle (Unless I go see a mate and skank one of his babies - he did say he's got too many lol).

IMG-20120709-00142.jpg

Oh yeah, Caramelo looks sad, because she's just undergone super cropping. Twisting, breaking, pinching and snapping lol with precision of course ;)
I love how supercropping works! :)
I also love, that the strain I was less excited about is the one that will come good lol

Liberty Haze - Still same. only like 2 millimetres of root just shyly peeking out of her shell... Really don't know how to coax her out...
The other seedlings in the aeroponics seem to be stunted in some way too. Roots are still growing new hairs and looking healthy, but we're still not seeing the first leaves stretching out... :S
I may need to seek advice about this soon...
Kandy Kush seeds seem to be loving it in there though, about an inch long already and hugging the pebbles good! - Think it's only been like 3 days since putting these seeds down lol

subbed and watching. hope that the cheese comes back for ya.
Thanks Hyperan :) Glad to have you with me. lol My drama, is now your drama ;)
I take it you have a grow on the go? got any pics? :) it'll cheer me up for sure...

Sorry to hear about your girl...don't get too down on it though, you have plenty to be optimistic about :).

I like supercropping as well :). Was adverse to it at first but I gave it a try and it significantly shaped and strengthened branches...def fun to play with too.

Supercropping omg! lol

I'm a BIG fan!

I've found though there is a fine line between a shit crop and an amazing crop. One must be extremely careful to not get carried away...

My good friend did a side-by-side with a few Pineapple Chunks (big ones under HPS). The SC'ed buds were literally twice the size and absolutely dripping lol the finished cola's at the end looked like they had more finished colas poking out of it like massive fingers!
However, with his recent crop he got somewhat carried away with it and carried on heavily cropping daily throughout stretch and into flower... put it this way; each plant was at least 6 foot tall and should have yielded up to six ounces each. They all yeilded less than one ounce each... Bummer!

But I'm a fan big time, the difference in growth is frankly, amazing :)

For any noobs reading this - yes it's good, but start slowly ffs! four or five thin pinches to start with, per few days at most so you can get to grips with it before you start pushing each strain to its maximum stress levels.

im def gna try that!
Woo we made a convert! lol you won't regret it BB!

Try this on your main stem... but don't blame me if you snap your tree! lol Just be gentle, like you may be with a lady ;)

Take an inch of stem finger and thumb with both hands. Twist the trunk slowly all the way around until you hear a 'click'. That's the internal stem breaking.
Then STOP twisting immediately! You must be careful as sometimes that 'click' can be so quiet and you can risk not hearing or feeling it and keep twisting your tree right round till it breaks - you don't want that. Just slowly and listening carefully for the click.
your tree may bend over once done. But that's good. Just make sure the skin isn't broken and that it is supported well for the next few days and it will heal just fine.

The benefit - the healing process creates scar tissue. Lots of scar tissue.
This scar tissue engorges the trunk/stem making it bigger and woodier.
The purpose of wanting such thicker trunk is to draw much more nutrients up and much faster.
Obviously, the fatter the trunk, the more nutes it can move ;) The difference in tree bushiness, branch thickness and eventually bud width is exceptionally noticeable.

But like I said... give a lil try, just one. and don't do it again for at least a week so that you may see exactly what it's doing.
(THIS CAN STUNT YOUR PLANT FOR UP TO A WEEK, please be warned)
Once you know what to expect than try it in a few locations and also try to be a little more forceful - I'm quite heavy handed with my ladies and will twist and pinch the shit out of them hahaha but I know their limitations cos I've had them a while
Once you know your strain very well you can feel free to supercrop every branch and every part of the trunk lol if you think your strain can handle it.

Doing this during flowering will stunt the process and totally slow down bud production to focus on healing itself, and fuck up your cycle so during flowering is a BIG no no! :) Hence why I advise to only SC during veg, with a good whole week of healing for each time.

Good luck! :)

NB;
Supercropping alongside topping should be done with a carefully timed schedule of healing inbetween supercrops. Done at the same time can kill a plant quickly, especially if it's a small plant. A lot of care should always be taken in judging what your plant can cope with.

That's down to the super cropping :) I try to maximise the stress levels with a combination of LST, SC and topping... it's an on going learning process really.
Your lady is looking properly green and very happy - how old is she?

44 days old, she got root bound and i didn't notice (first time), so she's a little behind.

I say 'she'... (got my fingers crossed for ya lol)

it's showing stipules everywhere now...so hopefully pistils are next. thanks for the wishes! it'll suck to have to play this waiting game all over again. that day difference in the cheese is painful to see, life goes on...plant another clone!

I reckon mine are often root bound and I don't notice... My dead cheese was in that little pot for about 3 months lol could be a factor towards its death, with the up potting. Institutionalisation ? lmao!

Yeah it's a pain growing out regs...
Yeah mate - 2x kandy kush gone in the propogator already and already popped ;) lol almost like I planned it that way!

I'm kinda looking at making some kind of bubbler to transplant into from my aero propogator and not sure what container to use yet. Already got a pump and stuff. I want a FloGro500 to flower in, haven't done hydro before and it makes sense really. So this DIY job is for the vegging period in between...

Dude, if you're in the bath with your shit you could hook up some mad hydro shit with your fresh water 'on-tap' hahaha

Have you though about DWC at all cumber? All you need is a bucket, pump, and water! Have also seen people use tupperware bins, but I think a bucket is much easier to move around.
