Curing containers - how many do I need?

I'm on day 30 of flower, and I've been told I should expect 3-4 lbs from my plants. Being my first grow, I'm not sure how many mason jars I'll need for that.
I found these at walmart for $17, its a 12 pack of quart mason jars: http://www.walmart.com/ip/Ball-Wide-Mouth-Quart-Jars-with-Lids-12-Pack/8033243 Will this be enough or will I need more?

Next question is about hygrometers. I've heard people put small cheap hygrometers in their jars to know when the RH is at the right amount to stop burping the jars. Where are these cheap hygrometers at? I've found one or two small one, but they are almost $20 each, and that will get pretty expensive if I need a bunch of jars :)

Any advice would be appreciated!

depending on bud density you can get 1 1/2-2oz per qt jar. jars are $10.50 per dozen at my walmart. they also have gallon cracker jars that will hold up to 8oz for $5.

I wouldn't use the gallon jars until they have cured. If you do use them, definitely don't fill to capacity. You don't want to trap any mold in there.

You can buy cheep hygrometers at your local cigar store, they sell them for your humedore some are cheeper than $5 to me they don't have to be acurate as long as the % you use is to your satisfaction, that is then your goal. example: if it reads 60% and you find it too moist, try 55% and so forth 'till you reach what you want. That's what I use with good results.
