Curing large amounts

What do you guys use to cure large amounts? I was looking into plastic rubbermaids but I read that it can impart a plastic flavor. Glass jars are really not an option. Is there something better to use? I would really apreciate some advise on this issue. Thanks

A larger glass container? They sell either decorative "mason" jars at home stores that are large, or a pyrex bowl. I have a glass pyrex bowl with a lid that would probably hold a lb.
Ikea has a lot of random containers too...
I also heard that the plastic can flavor it but in a pinch... (you could always add orange or lime peels in the box and it absorbs that flavor, might help)

a lot of us use turkey bags or any large glass container as for mason jars not practical even if ur using the half gallon jars

go to the grocery store, the aisle that has all the #10 cans and they should have 2-3 gallon glass jars with pickles or olives in them.

just a thought

I use gallon jars I can fit 4-6 oz in them. My uncle who is an outdoor grower uses a fish tank with a piece of glass on top he can fit pounds in that thing but you have to kind of tumble the buds with your hands every so often because the buds on the bottom stay just a little more moist than the ones on the top. You want the bud to take up about 75 % of the space so there is still a little room for air. Anyways hope I helped

Ok I have few of those 1 gal pickle jars but I didn't want to impart a pickle flavor/aroma to the buds. My worry is getting all that pickle out of the cap, it tends to not go away. I haven't heard of the turkey bags I'm going to have to look into that, has anyone else used these with success? I think I'll take a stroll thru walmart and see whats available too.

you can order a case of (4) 1 gallon jars online for about 20 $ you can also just order the lids just make sure you get the right type.
