Hi everyone,

Can anyone help me out? Every time I put my plants under the 600w lamp my leaves start to curl. Last I had this happen I had to put them under t5 lights and took 2 weeks to get better.

Now I put them under the 600w light again and the same problem is happening.

Double ended light 20 inches away
Humidity: hard to keep stable. 20 to 40 (can't get 50 with 600w light)
Temperature: 25 Celsius

My plants on the other side are under the same contpditions except Im using t5 lights. These plants are doing well. Same strain.

Thanks

Al

Is your temp taken at top of canopy? Two thoughts: When I switch from cool lights to hot lights, I usually start with the lights a few feet away and then lower them a couple inches a day to slowly increase the intensity of light and heat, similar to hardening off a plant going from indoors to outdoors.

Second thought: You might have a pest issue going on that was coincidental with the light switch. Possibly a broad mite issue?

Thanks for the input.

1. I started at 20 inches and left it there. Should be able to handle 18 or less.
2. This problem is not happening on the other side which is only two feet away but running a different light. So it's unlikely bugs.
