Took some more shots with lights on and found out my phone has a macro setting :D takes nicer shots now for sure. These colas are really getting huge and I don't doubt for a second a couple will be an oz or more. Like I say another 20 days max and ill have a blue tounge from all the blueberry I'm smoking :D. Nice work Curly ! i just order me a new LED light ( my first one) A STT-12 (Stinger 360w full spectrum) From Busy bee leds. Cant wait to try it out, i will do a comparison with my 400w HPS. Is the SCROG thing hard to do ? seems really funny. maybe i will have to try it some time =). Got a 5x5tent (1.5m x 1.5m) housing 5 Female Cheese atm, they are branching like fucking crazy, its insane :D. And the smoke is awsome as well. Anyhow good luck with your project and happy farming :)

Ps, you got Blue Cheese (xcross breed between cheese and blueberry) just a tip for future OP's :D
gets boring to smoke the same weed every time imo.

whats up supercheese thanks for stopping in man, i have seen a few people saying they were looking at busy bee leds dont know if ive seen any grows done with em keep us updated for sure man. scrogs are not hard to do man there are lots of great scrog journals on here to help ya but basically ya just top the shit out of your plant untill its a tree and then grow it through a screen to help support the massive weight the plant puts on. this is my first attempt at it and i must say i dont think ill be going back to other growing styles anytime soon this shit is great! the mix of 100% perlite and constant auto feeding every 3 hours has shown amazing growth truely the best ive seen. i love cheese man .... well we call it uk cheese over in canada here :D but some good shit man and a cross with blueberry sounds amazing , ya im not into doing the same strain all the time either last run i did 5 rockstar and 1 blueberry and i thought the blueberry would make a great scrog plant and away i went :) hey how much did that busy bee unit set ya back?

Sup man!, The light cost me 730 USD including shipping cost of 128 USD, pretty cheap imo :D. I live across the big pond and up north of that. How did you setup the auto feeding ? saw some pictures of it, is it a cooling box ? iam going to start out small with a scrog on one uk cheese in my closet to get the hang of it before i go big :D got 5 nice looking cheeses going atm, wich iam trying different stuff on. my first run i just let them grow on their own, mostly cos i was "affraid" of killing them with the cutting and shit.
iam doing super cropping on two, proning/topping on two and one will i just top once to keep the height down lil bit. they will be vegging for about 100days :D so im hoping fore some monster yield :D.

How are the lights you are using now? dont know what type of lights u've had before to compare to, but is there alot of difference between the new one and lets say a hps 400w ?

How long was your bberry in vegg to fill the screen ?

Cheers.

that not to bad of a price at all man, two things that threw me off of busy bee though is the lack of grow journals done with them and their website looks like pooopy haha i feel a grade 8 techy kid could have done a better job and to me that says alot about a company if they are selling lights they can afford to pay a webdesigner to spiffy things up no prob, besides that if they work they work :D and at a decent price too so please let me know how things go. the auto feeding i have setup is quite simple i have a garbage can next to my tent with a 250 gallon per hour pump in it that has a feeder tube going into my tent and attaches to a feeder ring placed in my growing tote and then there is a hose running connecting both of them at the bottom to keep it recirculating ...hope that makes sense haha. the lights i am using now are great man the best ive used for sure and ive tried a few different units (spectra's , magnums , chinese panels) i used to run 600 and 1000w hps bulbs seperatley at different times and i must say that i used to get from a half to3/4 of a pound from a 600w hps and on my first run using these panels even with a bunch of misshaps along the way i pulled 6 or 6.5 oz's off of 600w of led .... not to bad at all considering the problems i had and i didnt have to buy a ballast or a hood or a bulb and i didnt have to buy extra fans to cool such a setup , but like i say i had some problems and this round im sure i will be able to get 8-10 oz's from 600w of light no prob im thinking even more :) so to answer your question i think that a VIPAR A300 could match a 400w hps no prob, i know of someone that got 6 oz's off just one A300 and that sounds about par to most 400w grows i hear about. overall it comes down to the conditions and the grower whos is doing the work if people know their shit its likely that leds will work very well for them (with a bit of research) and if they dont they will have big problems and probly turn around and blame it on the lights making the industry look bad and having people think leds dont work , its sad really because they do work and very well at that it just takes an open mind and a bit of learning (like anything) before you see your just rewards. hope this helps man cheers :D

Thanks for the info, as i understand it, the feeding water never stands still inte your "pot"? you and i have a pretty simular setup with the watering, tho i am running with soil (gold label special mix) but i am on my way to rebuild the whole room, perhaps at the end of this month i'll be done :D then i'll start a thread comparing 400w hps vs the 360w LED panel. Yeah i hear you about their web page, i could pretty much have done a better job, i think ;P. And the thought hit me that they might not be to serious about their business, but i got a really good wibe from Brian (owner of busy bee leds) realy helpful with all my questions, and there was a lot of questions :D. I figuered that, if the light dont meet my expectations i can allways use it for clones as a last resort. Since it's possible to grow with pretty much any kind of light, atleast it wont be a waste of cash :D

So how are the BBERRY to grow? i've heard it can be somewhat hard to get a good result with it, some of my friends have tried and never was really happy with it. But your seems to grow well! so i guess that those of my friends that have tried it, are not really ment for growing stuff :D

Cheers

for my sake i hope your wrong friendo :D haha but i think its my shit camera not doing my girl justice the biggest of the cola's are over a foot long and about as thick as a 1 litre pop bottle easy and shes getting denser every day! im just going by the last time i grew this stuff the top cola i had looked similar if not a bit smaller than these and it weighed 20 g's dry so im sticking by my guns :) i really think they have the potential and i just started adding koolbloom as well so thats gonna help em fatten up even more. i guess only time holds the answers and its not much longer now, i gotta stop by and check out how your girls are doing , cheers man.

my water never really sits still no it just keeps moving through as it gets pumped and the plant picks up what it needs :D. the blueberry has been great to me man i cant complain a bit about it, the plants always produces nice pungent potent buds and very strong plant structure with huge fan leaves some bigger than my hands. im sure there are a few different cuts of blueberry out there but this one is really nice and im glad to have it and i would really like to see what it could do outdoor .... maybe net year :)

What he said :)

If you've got previous experience growing it to judge weight that outrules anything ;) They look as long as you describe but nowhere near as wide from the last pics I see above... but like you said could just be the pics...

shes a big bitch indeed :D. in fact she is the largest indoor plant i have ever grown when i got to thinking about it. i like this style of growing very much and although i did not get a perfect even canopy things look like they are going to go well in the yield section either way i still have a lot of learning to do with this method and can wait to get my net one on the go. unfortunitely i dont think i will be doing another grow for a while as i have plans of moving coming up and i never want to go through the stress of moving plants ever again haha.

Okay so it's day 46 or some shit? I dunno haha drank a bunch of white wine with my gf and I'm shittered :D. I found a tiny patch of some fucking Asian gypsy mold (as I like to call it) came in on some fucking wooden bbq sticks from china that I used for supporting some seedlings way back and although I hate the sight of it it only seems to stick to outer leaves not invading dense buds which was weird. Either way I blasted the shhit out of it with some serenade on the leaves waited for it to dry then sprayed the whole plant with a 1teaspoon of baking soda to 1 liter of water mixture dousing everything bud and all. The baking soda changes the PH so drastically the mold can't grow any. More and dies :) great tip know for another one with PM late in flower.

I wouldnt spray baking soda on the buds, in fact I dont like spraying it on the leaves either because it dries out and looks like PM. I would trust the lemon juice a lot more to spray on the buds if you feel like you really have to. I am not sure if you read through my journal but I had to deal with PM recently (ever so slightly in my indoor garden but mainly on my outdoor plant) and I was told to look at the Jorge Cervantes video on how to bath your buds to get rid of PM on the final product, you may want to watch this video, not sure I like the h2o2 that much (I found some organic food grade h2o2 at the health food store) but at least you will not be smoking mold.

Do not use wood ever ;) I learned my lesson as well a while back, I had pop-cycle sticks to identify my seeds, nothing ever happened except that I panicked as soon as I saw the mold and never used wood again.

What is the RH of your room? do you exhaust outside your home or inside? I have been exhausting inside (I dont want to exhaust outside because the air comes from inside the house as well) that is how I have been doing since going 100% LEDs but I found recently that I needed another dehumidifier. Can't fuck around with mold!! I am gonna try to keep my RH at 45 both in my basement and my grow room for the winter. I got thermometers in the 4 corner of my basement and I keep a close eye on RH.

It would be nice to see some natural light shots, one thing I have been doing that works quite well is when I take pictures with the lights on, I use lightroom (similar to photoshop) and I do 1 thing with each picture (I dont spend much time on them, literally I do the same thing on all of them, 1 step, done) I remove the reds and it still looks like an LED picture but you can see a lot better.

Anyway, just food for thought, plants look great! :bigjoint:
