Current climatic conditions

The rain started about daylight Saturday morning, then stayed away until after dark. We got about three quarters of an inch. I did get out long enough to plant a few squash seeds in grow bags.

Sunday we got just over four inches, mostly after midnight and this morning, but there were a few rumbles of thunder in the afternoon. Looks like it has passed now. The river is coming up, but I don't think it will flood. I stayed home tonight because I didn't want to cover my car with limestone mud. Plus my TV reception is always iffy when it's raining. Or maybe it was the time change had me dragging. Either way I skipped camp night.

At 2330 it's partly cloudy and 51F. Today's low/high was 51/68F. Tomorrow's forecast calls for 51/60F with a 25% chance of rain.

For tonight's viewing of the last lunar eclipse easily viewable from the central US for a long time...

It's forecast to be cloudy.
Same here. I tried to nap before doing my midnight ramble, but it didn't work out. I'll head out at 0100 Central time. The later I go the more clouds I can expect. But it doesn't start until 0045 and doesn't get full until 0130 in my neck of the woods.

I was able to see it between the clouds, which was actually pretty cool.

Rainy and upper 30s in northern Colorado today. We'll take our moisture pretty much any way we can get it.

Behave, those with dirty minds- you know who you are!
