Current Dwc 1 Pot Design Thoughts

Hey folks ive been thinking about this for a loooong time and as of late ive actually found other designs called current dwc, problem is the systems I keep seeing are all multi pot systems!

I only grow one monster plant at a time so the multi pot system and prices arent going to happen.

The reason im thinking of this is so that there will be a huge 60ish litres of water in this system, as for mid to late flowering period the 1 monster plant was drinking a 20 litre bucket in about 24 hours!

This system will allways keep the water level just a nic below the net pot and because of the large amount of water, the concentrations of chems should'nt get to high when the baby starts to guzzle it up, which in turn means more stable PH and I can maybe get away with not having to tend to it on a daily basis!

The circulation of the water alone is enough to oxygenate the water for hydro, the hanging gardens where an example, but hey with the extra bubbles it has to increase the yeild or at the very least make dwc easyer to maintain as I never had a twinge in my back untill i started DWC lol

Any ideas or knowledge would be great, especialy on what will the algee build up be like in the growing pot seeing it wont be getting scrubbed down like normal, itll just be getting drained and refilled with fresh water and chems, after a quick flush with some plain phed water ofc again any ideas welcome except if its to use hydrogen peroxide I fucking hate the stuff!

And folks we want simple ideas dont be getting into stuff to complicated for the layman thank you and good by ;)

I would set it up so that you can let gravity do some work for you. Raise that tub or bucket above the plant container. Get a cheap float valve for you plant container and set it to you desired level. Connect it to the raised tub and it will replace the water as the plants drink.

Had a system set up like your saying except with out the float valve, i used a sealed bucket filled with phed water with a tube coming from the bottom of the bucket and when the grow buckets water level fell below the level of the tube air got in and water rushed out but want the flow of water just as much as i want it to be kept topped up aswell, ya with me? :)

So im getting the benifits from say an NFT system with the flowing water getting well oxygenated aswell as the benifits of a bubbler adding extra oxygen and flow to the water, thats why i need to use a highish powered water pump so i can achive the best possable water flow!

And this way i get the extra bonus of keeping it topped up to the correct level all the time.
