cxa 3070 in 2x2 feet tent

What is my best option for flowering:

4 cxa3070 3000K at 1.4A in 2'x2' (overkill?)

or

same LEDs at 700mA?

That's 1 cxa at ~40% efficiency per sq foot. Should be perfect

Just make sure they are dimmable, and option #1.

The 1.4 A drivers are Meanwell LPC-60-1400 and non-dimmable. That means ~200 watts in a 2'x2' area.

Absolutely no reason not to do 1.4mA. Just dim it if you need to on a "B" version/model from meanwell.

i am using 4 cxa3070's in a 3x2,, its a strong amount of light for the space,, your going to rock it,, i would get a dimming ballast,, as mine is to strong when they are little plants,

I am actually going with a similar setup to this. A 2x2x4 tent with 4cxb3070 @ 1050 dimmable. Just buying some parts today. Some more next week.

What is your tent height?

I'm buying a 6 3590s kit for my 2x2 and going to use 4 of them for that grow space and 2 for the veg.

Any reason you are restricted to these two current/driver choices? I know not everyone has the choice some countries do, but a single driver is an easier build.

Use a Meanwell HLG-185H-1400B to run your 4 Cob Array. You can dim your Sun and select a constant current from 700mA to 1.4A
