For real tho, my main pheno started out doing 7-8oz per clone. 7oz from seed 6wks veg. Then it started dropping some as it became two years old. Even with vegging long and plant seemingly being good for it but it just wont pass 8oz. at first it was always 7-8 without trying very hard.
Then recently had them short, 5oz clones and a clone that vegged 11 wks but didnt really seem to pass the 7oz mark. I didnt process it yet, todays I think is the day. 60/60 makin them dry so damn long, 9 days vs 4 days. Anyway, now Im strategicly vegging to get that 7oz.
So yea you cant just make it yield more. Its just how it performs which varies run to run even as clones. So im starting to appreciate what I have again and just sceptical of high extract yielding strains. If the bud yield dont back it up its really like a freakin 12 percenter. Just now realized that.
I just assumed you could yueld more if you try but I grew uh.. 5 perpetual runs about to flip my 6th run with watermelon. It would be 7 if a run didnt mold and one tent was 9wks complete the others about halfway flowered. So I dont count that run just sucks to be set back and not be able to say 7th run but I learned revolutionary things that run. To avoid mold.
The jellysickle was like about a QP. The banana candy was a mini clone did 50% less bud than the mini clone of watermelon I tested there first. Which was good, I got a feel for that space and can try to conclude some things on tesults I get with new strains.
Well I heard once its best to test a pheno just like youd grow your main pheno. Test it in the same canopy structure, tent and everything. To see what plays nice with your ways of growing. So that banana candy could of performed differently if I just ran it like normal. Hence the suggestion I heard.
