Damn bud rot!!!!

So inspecting my buds further today I discovered 3-4 colas that were in the cure process rotted the fuck out! ALL in the middle/inside. I am PISSED!!!!! I saved the tops but the side budes and middle of the cola, completely ruined on the inside, rotten and full of white fuzz and black/white spots all over the fucking place! I dont know if the bud worms caused it this year. Earlier during the grow season I had 2-3 completely brown/dried/dead chunks I had to cut off the nug. Then I had to cut an entire bud off like 3 weeks before harvest due to it rotting by the stem. Either these damn worms or the insane humidity had a hand in fucking me colas up. I dont think it was my drying/curing. The damage done couldnt of happened during the short time they were hangn, it was wayyyy too extensive...fuccck! Anywhoo... I still have quite abit from this years harvest I will be able to enjow :)....Anyone else have problems this year outdoors???

In the red circles were the areas that were completely removed and thrown away. I threw about 8-11 grams away =( For some reason the rot was at the same EXACT spots on the other plants as the one pictured...fucking weird!

Also I notice, the worst spots were where the fat side buds are firmly pressed against the stem of the cola. I had to pull them apart to expose the rot.

Sorry to read of your misfortunate loss.

Crazy, I was grinding a friends dispensary herb up and a small brown beetle crawled slowly out.

I can understand that must be tricky outside when the weather turns nasty.

I'm mystified myself, and thinking, "Damn, I don't want that to ever happen!"
I'll follow this if it goes into any information that helps you.
I want to head off problems before they startup.

You didn't cut your buds off the stem when your cured it?..Strange, but you need to cut off those stems next time and allow the moisture to escape.

If it turns out that your problem was insect, you know which way to focus.

If it turns out to be from mold or fungus, I guess go that way.

Well this year I had pulled several worms off my buds. Its just crazy the SAME spots were rotting on the colas of 3-4 different plants. RIGHT there where the big side buds on the colas rest on the stem. Then the shit spread to the middle of the cola and surrounding buds that were touching the stem......fuck. Pictured is Dutch Passions auto blueberry.

I hung the entire plant after trimming. l I cut the buds off when I was curing yes. However the top of the colas I left intact. One chunk.

I did, I had to start over and move a new grow indoors...bugs were out of control! I finally got those first clones to start growing. They were almost dead and I replanted them in some Fox Farms Ocean Forrest and they began to grow. Next year I'm not going to waste my time trying to grow outside...

I grow EVERY year outside, this is the first year I had problems like this. Keep in mind I been outdoor growing for YEARS and have many successful harvests, this one was just a little bit fucked. Maybe its Mothers Natures tax for using her sun lol. PS. Use Neem for bugs.

The only thing I can think is the buds were rotting outside in that insane humidity before they were hung. I slow dry. Hang for 3 days, jar/bag until ready for long term cure.
