ok so I was lst'n one of my plants and I accidently snapped it right in the middle where it was topped about 1 inch down its more of a slit I guess. I quickly taped it with black tape and put a single zip tie around the tape. it seems to be fine so far its been about 2 hours. this was right after a watering btw im hopping that helps. I guess my only concern is im about 10 days into flowering. any advice is surely appreciated thanks..

i use this tape like stuff thats somewhat stretchy thats for tying down plants, i just knotted it around where i snapped it and didnt mess with it. still looks fine 2 weeks later! best thing about this stretchy tape is it stretches as the plant repairs itself. and isnt harmful cause its not adhesive its just meant to tie things down with and allow the plant to pull back on it.

you should be okay. i do wonder if the tape will tighten as the trunk grows? if so, after the plant heals remove the tape.

Yah you'll be fine. All you really did is super crop it. If you ever have height problems you can do the same thing and just snap the stem and leave them supported for a day and then they will stay bent.

Sounds like what I did, and our plants must be the same age, we've been flowering for the same amount of time.

I'll try to remember. Mine was topped on the 3rd or 4th, and then topped again a couple days later. I now have 4 main branches tied down like 4 points on a compass, tops everywhere, but it's only about 12" deep.

I never bothered to close the crack, it just wouldnt come back together.

I've done that before. I used scotch tape and just left it. 5 weeks later the trunk actually popped the tape off as it grew.
