This is a very dangerous habit. I tried it. My skin got flushed, my heart raced, I got sweaty and short of breath. NOT GOOD!

Love it! we got to be in charge of our own health in this country-nobody else gives a fuck about our health. keep going everyone exercise is an awful addictive bitch with terrible side effects like longer life, fuller life, better health etc. plus the big bonus is exercise fixes everything big pharma claims to so its the biggest fuck you anyone can give those pill pushers.

Stop immediately and go to the store buy a pack of cigarettes puff away until your lungs hurt.

That should balance out everything.

LOL Cory! I agree with you 100%, but I bet you're one of those cats that actually enjoys running. Like the people that claim to get some sort of high from it. Fuck that. Make no mistake about it, running is work. I spent so many years pushing my body past the breaking point that I can no longer look at exercise as enjoyable. Smoking a joint is enjoyable .... running not so much.

I have worked hard to see what the runner's high is. I have a system that I found to actually work. you have to train a certain way but it can happen. I do not enjoy running either BTW, I endure it because I enjoy endurance sports and swimming and biking are actually fun. To get a runner's high you have to train hard short intervals for up to 30 minutes with almost no warm up to it for over a month. put some long slow runs in with it that month but the second month you do all short hard runs except the last one of the month. that's the high day, you start out slow and stay slow while still jogging not walking. after 15-25 minutes you won't be able to stop yourself from running it and you'll be high. its not weed high but its real. music is rad, day is awesome no matter what its just a great time. A joint is SOOO much easier and more satisfying as far as a high goes its just funny you said that stow LOL. had to share.

I've had chronic asthma attacks since I was a kid and have weaned myself off of all medication over the past year. The only major change was I started running regularly

I might run if my knee didn't need to be replaced. Best I can do is a bike or eliptical.. Ineed to start working out again... But I put in a mile walk through 10" of snow pulling 50lbs behind me at least 3 times a week. That's a workout in itself.. Can't run though or I won't be able to walk for a month.. Dancing really fucks me up too.. :(

Had a double knee replacement om 11-25-13. Came home from the hospital on Thanksgiving day. I just this week started walking around without the use of a walker (which I still use when leaving the house). This surgery (and recuperation) is the hardest thing I've ever had to endure, if you don't like exercising, you should not be getting knees replaced, one has to learn to walk all over again, not to mention getting out of chairs. If you can hold out for as long as possible before replacement, that's the ticket. But then again, that's easy for me to say. No pain in the knee joint area. I'm looking forward to be able to walk 1 mile and not have to worry if I can make it back without the screaming pain.

I used to carry 70 pounds of chain and climb up and down the stairs at work that went up to the crane bays. About 80 steps. I'd climb forward, backwards, and left and right side step climbing. I think it messed up my neck. :D Plus I'd do chin ups and pull ups on a piece of building steel that ran above one part of the steps. Great workout. My feet got bad eventually, too many years on concrete.
